We are SOKOL FALCO – a traditional Czech family business. Since 1993, we have been specialising in the production of meat for your pets – canned food, frozen meat, dried meat. We place particular emphasis on quality, which we can guarantee, as we draw on the experience of the founder, Jiří Sokol, D.V.M., who prepares the formulations of all our products. We not only distribute our products in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also export them abroad. We additionally run our own network of retail stores, of which we have a total of four, in Miřetice, Hlinsko, Chrudim and Žďár nad Sázavou. We supply wholesalers, retailers, e-shops, kennels, shelters, armed forces, veterinary clinics and, last but not least, end consumers.

From present to the history
Complete innovation of the design of dried meat treats and launch of Clicker Bites training cubes. Duck and chicken species were added to frozen meat and canned meat. Owners could buy FALCO sunglasses and start using the GoPay payment method. A new production hall was built and the premises were enlarged. After the floods, we sent several batches of feed to the Jesenice region.
We celebrated 30 years of operation on the market! Throughout the year, the "GREAT FALCO COMPETITION" was held with 50 very valuable prizes. We expanded our dried meat treats with new types and launched sterilized sausages. We also enriched our Christmas assortment with 3 more products.
Introducing new products to the market, specifically canned food TIM and LÍZA 120 g, MAX and MERI 120 g and MAX 200 g. We also launched a Luxury Package for true meat lovers and a loyalty program for our customers.
In addition to technological reconstructions and increased warehouse capacities, we also obtained IFS food certification.
We launched the #falcocestovatel (#falcotraveller) project. With this idea, we want to support travelling in the Czech Republic with a pet and, at the same time provide animal lovers with tips for trips where they may take their four-legged companion with them.
Expansion of production halls, increasing the capacity of warehouses, cold-storage rooms and the addition of a new refrigeration room, but also the purchase of modern technology. Thanks to the new technology, we were given the opportunity to launch numerous unique new products. Another point of extensive reconstruction was building new two-storey offices.
This year we celebrated a beautiful anniversary... It was 25 years since we launched our first products on the market and started producing meat delicacies for dogs and cats.
Social networks are a phenomenon of the present day, therefore, in 2017 we also started our activity on Facebook. Through this platform our followers learn a lot of news, discover our products, participate in competitions and peek under the hood of the business. Two years later, we also founded the company´s Instagram account.
Every business wants to grow and constantly develop, which is also our goal. A significant turning point came in 2013, when we managed to launch an e-shop. Since then, our customers have been able to order FALCO products from the comfort of their homes.
Construction of cold-storage rooms, new production halls and new premises for staff facilities. At the same time, our company took another important step when we decided to buy a new modern dryer to start producing dried meat snacks.
Pieces of beef, offal, minced salami and what else? In 1998, our historically first 100% canned meat was prepared, initially with pieces of beef then minced beef.
Another important milestone for our company was the year 1996, when we moved to our current principal place of business in Vížky u Slatiňan. In addition to operating in the new location, we also started producing minced salami, which we filled into natural casings.
In 1993, our company was founded in Miřetice near Hlinsko. Our first products included pieces of beef and offal. We also subsequently included minced meat packed in PE bags into our product mix.

Dogs and cats are primarily carnivores, and as such our goal is that people feed their pets with quality food and, above all, return pets to their natural meat diet. From the onset of our operations we have adhered to our motto, which is "Our products are really made from meat".
